Mein erster Versuch, mit Photoshop zu malen. Ich hab bereits ein paar Colorationen mit PhotoImpact gemacht, aber nie versucht ein ganzes Bild zu malen. Nachdem ich ein paar Clips of youtube gesehen hab, in denen man sehr gut die Herangehensweise des Künstlers erkennt, entschied ich mich, es einmal selbst zu versuchen. Nunja, es ist kein Meisterwerk, aber das war (hoffentlich) erst der Anfang. ;) [/german]

My first try to paint in Photoshop. I did some colorations with PhotoImpact before, but never dared to create a whole picture. After seeing some clips on youtube where you can see the progress of the artist I decided to try it on my own. Well, it isn’t a masterpiece, but it was (hopefully) just the beginning. ;) [/english]

Nachdem ich Fluch der Karibik 3 gesehen hatte, juckte es mir gewaltig in den Fingern und ich fing an zu malen. Das Motiv stammt natürlich aus dem Film. Eine Vorskizze auf Papier habe ich nicht gemacht, sondern direkt in Photoshop begonnen.

Zeit: 6-7 Stunde

After watching “Pirates of the Caribbean” I felt the urge to draw. The motive was obviously taken from the movie. I didn’t do any drawings on paper before, and started with Photoshop right from the start instead.

Die Idee für dieses Bild hatte ich schon vor längerer Zeit skizziert. Schließlich entschied ich mich, sie ohne Vorzeichnung direkt mit dem Grafiktablet umzusetzen. Auch dieses Bild ist mit Painter X entstanden. Bin noch immer etwas am experimentieren. [/german]

I made the sketch for this motive quite some time ago. Finally I decided to create the picture without any drawing on paper directly on the computer with my graphic tablet. This picture, too, was created with Painter X. I’m still experimenting a bit with it. [/english]

Dieses Bild ist nach eine ziemlich miesen Skizze entstanden, die ich mal in einer Vorlesung gemacht hatte. Es ist irgendwie erstaunlich, wie man aus solchen Kritzeleien dann ein relativ passables Bild machen kann. [/german]

is to fight maturity. – Inspiriert von einem Foto, dass mir Sergei mal gezeigt hatte. Zu sehen waren Figuren des Cirque du Soleil (Sonnenzirkus). Und da ich die Figur so süß finde, ziert das Bild derzeit auch den Desktop meines Notebooks. [/german]
