Ähnlich wie seine zwei Vorgänger war das Buch in kürzester Zeit verschlungen. Das Tempo nimmt auch zum Ende des Buches nicht ab, sodass man dann völlig verdutzt ist, wenn man plötzlich merkt, dass es keine nächste Seite mehr gibt.
Das Team der 7 Halbgötter ist komplett. Wie zu erwarten begleiten wir die Helden aus den ersten zwei Büchern nun auf ihrer Reise nach Europa. Bei so unterschiedlichen Charakteren sind Spannungen natürlich vorprogrammiert und auch die Götter lassen es sich nicht nehmen, am Spiel teilzunehmen.
Einziger Hacken für mich ist, dass der Wechsel zwischen gleich vier Erzählern – auch wenn durch getrennte Kapitel entsprechend gekennzeichnet – teilweise etwas irritierend ist. Es tut der Story jedoch keinen Abbruch. Wer die bisherigen zwei Bücher gelesen hat, macht mit dem dritten Band auch nichts falsch. Falls ihr bishher nur die Percy Jackson-Reihe gelesen habt, dann natürlich mit Band eins beginnen. ;)
Und nun heißt es, ein weiteres Jahr warten, bis dann endlich Band Vier erscheint. (Kaum zu fassen, dass man ein Jahr wartet, um dann innerhalb von knapp zwei Wochen mit dem Buch durch zu sein…)
