Dieses Buch hat mich genau an den Punkten wieder abgeholt, die mir bei “Traitor” so gefehlt hatten. Es hatte Witz, Action und schaffte es dazu noch, mich hin und wieder zu überraschen. (Bei den vielen Spoilern, die ich bisher so gelesen habe, ist das durchaus bemerkenswert.)

Ich habe das Buch in relativ kurzer Zeit verschlugen und sowohl Straßenbahnfahrten als auch Ruhephasen vor dem Einschlafen genutzt. Schade, dass jedes Buch irgendwann ein Ende hat. ;)

Jacen ist zurück unter Familie und Freunden, doch gerade zu seiner Zwillingsschwester ist das Verhältnis zunächst gespannt. Während die Politiker versuchen, einen neuen Staatschef festzulegen und Luke Türklinken putzt, um den Jedi Rat wieder ins Leben zu rufen, tritt Admiral Ackbar unerwartet auf den Plan. Der Mon Calamari mit den großen Augen fungierte bereits in den alten Filmen als Taktiker und hat einen Plan ausgetüftelt, der hoffentlich der zerfallenden Republik und der Tyrannai der Yuuzhan Vong wieder etwas Aufschwung gibt. Mehr wird nicht verraten. ;)
