[Öl auf Leinwand]
Ich hab zu Weihnachten von meinen Eltern 4 Leinwände auf Keilrahmen in verschiedenen Größen bekommen. Dazu eine Tischstaffelei, neue Pinsel, Holzmischpalette und natürlich etwas Ölfarbe. Mit dieser Arbeit kommen gleich mehrere neue Dinge auf mich zu, denn es ist das erste Mal, dass ich
1. auf Leinwand male,
2. mit Öl male,
3. Wale male (bisher nur 2 oder 3 Zeichnungen).

Bisherige Arbeitsschritte
Idee + Vorzeichnung – 15.01.2006 [ca. 30 Minuten]
Hintergrund – 15.01.2006 [ca. 1 Stunde]
Wale – 29.01.2006 [ca. 1 Stunde]

Ich hab die Fotos meist direkt nach dem Malen gemacht. Es gibt entsprechend einige unschöne Reflexionen durch die nasse Farbe…

[oil on canvas]
For christmas I got 4 “pre-stretched canvas” (hope it’s named that way) in 4 different sizes. In addition a little easel (for tables), new brushes, palette (for mixing colours) made of wood and of course some oil colours. With this project there are several new things coming up for me:
1. painting on canvas,
2. painting with oil colours,
3. painting whales (only 2 or 3 drawings so far).

Done so far:
idea + fronting – January, 15th 2006 [about 30 minutes]
background – January, 15th 2006 [about 1 hour]
whales – January, 29th 2006 [about 1 hour]

I’ve made the photos directly after painting. Due to stil wet colours there are some nasty reflections…
